Your pet's health and safety are important to us. You can rely on us to fill your pet's medication for a medical condition as well as prescription diets, flea, tick and heartworm preventive products.
Due to dispensing laws regulated by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA), any prescription medication that has left our office, CANNOT BE RETURNED, regardless of whether it has been opened or not. Our pharmacy is subject to the same dispensing laws as human pharmacies. Please keep in mind, all heartworm/flea/tick prevention sold at our practice is still considered a prescription medication, and falls under the same regulations as any other prescription dispensed.
In order to request a refill for your pet's medication we ask that you please call or email our office 24 hours in advance. Within 24 hours of your request, our office will notify you as to when your prescription will be ready for pick up, or to inform you that additional examination and/or diagnostics are needed in order for the prescribing doctor to authorize the refill.
Please be aware, if 24 hour notice is not provided for your refill request we may be unable to refill the prescription immediately, which may require you to return to pick up your pet's refill at a later time.
Red Bank Veterinary Hospital is pleased to be able to offer medications and prescription diets shipped directly to your home. We can even ship a single dose of heartworm prevention or flea control once a month, to help you spread out your costs and remind you when it is time to give these medications.
As always we are happy to write a prescription for you to use at your local pharmacy, or at another online pharmacy, but we think you will find that this service gives exceptional value at competitive pricing.
